Did anyone catch the Docudrama of Truman last night on PBS? It was a sad narrative (for anyone familiar with the facts they didn't address)...conservative talking heads still trying to justify Truman's simply minded approach to the ethical issues of "Total War", i.e., the targeting of civilians in war.
